Eleven people have died in a fatal road accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Monday morning.
According to the report received, Nakuru Referral Hospital superintendent James Waweru confirmed two lives lost on arrival while one died at the facility.
After visiting the scene, police established that eight had died on the spot.
“When we arrived at the scene, eight people had died as the accident was fatal,” Nakuru County Commander Samuel Wandanyi confirmed.
However, the accident was on head-on-collision at the Ngata stretch where the Matatu driver died instantly while the drive of the truck not yet located.
Drivers should be careful while driving so that they can safe lives of individual they ferry.
It is the driver’s responsibilities to make sure that the passengers are safe and that they should be responsible.
