Fight against illicit drugs succeeds,DP Gachagua says

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has said that fight against illicit brews has succeeded following increase in number of children in central region.

Speaking when he hosted children for Christmas treat at his rural home in iruri village in Mathira, Gachagua said that intense fight against the illicit brews,men are now siring thus securing the future of the nation.

” I have driven along many villages and I can attest that we are now seeing fruits of our fight against brews going by the numbers of young ones spotted as you drive along am sure we will win” said Gachagua

The deputy president said that before the campaigns against brews kicked off the region future was threatened since few children were being born.

“Before this campaign which we have won 70 percent a generation was threatened we couldn’t see as many children on our villages roads we will soldier on” said Gachagua.

The deputy president who was accompanied by second lady Dorcas gachagua, also noted that the competence based carriculum is a success after employment of more teachers as recommended by presidential working party on education.

“I want to assure parents that their children education will be a success due to teachers employed by Kenya kwanza administration this is our future as a nation ” said Gachagua.
