FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT AT TIMBOROA KILLS FIVE, SEVERAL INJURED

Five lives have been claimed following a tragic road accident that occurred on Thursday night at Mlango Tatu area along Nakuru-Eldoret Road.

According to the police report, is that they  received the call and immediately dispatched NPS Officers to the scene.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the accident involved a Mistubish bus and three other vehicles, including a Toyota Probox.

The collision resulted in the tragic loss of three lives.

The injured passengers were rushed to Eldama Ravine Sub-county Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Two other lives claimed

Unfortunately, two more unidentified passengers succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

In order to further ascertain the cause of death,the bodies have been preserved at the hospital morgue, awaiting an autopsy.

Efforts are currently underway to clear the road obstruction caused that lead to the accident.

Authorities are working tirelessly to ensure that the road is safe and accessible for other motorists.

In other previous news,

A separate fatal road traffic accident claimed the lives of five passengers on 31/12/2023 at around 0720hrs.

However,the tragic incident occurred at Eveready Roundabout along the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway.

The driver of a trailer, with registration number KCG 355Y/ZE1279, lost control,colliding with a Matatu belonging to Ngata Sacco Matatu.

Accident unfold

The impact of the collision caused the Matatu to then collide with another trailer, with registration number KDB 341D/ZG4149.

Several other passengers sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed to Nakuru Level Five Hospital.

Therefore,the authorities are investigating the causes of the accident and providing support to the affected individuals.
