15 people die in a road Accident along Nakuru-Eldoret highway

15 people have lost their lives in a tragic road accident at Twin Bridge area along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

The incident occurred at 2:45 am on Tuesday, according to the National Police Service (NPS).

However,the accident involved a bus belonging to Classic Kings of Congo and a North Ways Shuttle Toyota matatu.

Mau Summit Police Station officers and medics rushed to the scene to provide assistance.

Further,the injured were immediately taken to Molo Sub-County Hospital, while the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the hospital’s mortuary.

NPS has urged motorists to be cautious, especially with students returning to school.

In another devastating accident on the Isinya-Kitengela road, three individuals lost their lives.

A Toyota matatu and an Isuzu lorry collided at Kisaju area around 6:40 am.

Therefore,Isinya Police Station initial investigation suggest that the matatu driver attempted to overtake a stalled lorry-

but lost control and collided with the rear right of the lorry.

Two unidentified female and one male adults died at the scene, and their bodies were taken to Shalom Hospital Mortuary.

Survivors

Consequently, Survivors were rushed to various hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

It is crucial for all motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations.

The NPS emphasizes the need for drivers to be vigilant, especially during this time when students are returning to school.
