A minor,16, has today been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for the murder of her cousin M.K on 16th August ,2022 who then aged one year 8 month.
The Office of the director of public Prosecution says that the sentence will be served for the first 2 years at a borstal institution while the remaining 8 years at Langata women prison.
At the time , the minor will attain the age of Majority.
While agreeing with the prosecution,the Judge noted that a custodial sentence was deserving of the subject who killed her innocent cousin.
It is said that the deceased was suffocated to death and then thrown in to a borehole.
The minor prior to the killing of the cousin,had also killed her three Siblings,whose deaths are pending the completion of investigations.
