The National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) Chair Kimani Ichungwa says that they have made recommendations to suit all Kenyans in the final document.
Ichungwa said the issues surrounding sensitive electoral issues, economy and the cost of living have been properly addressed.
“The dialogue team has craft ways on how to handle elections without bickering,” he said.
He noted that never again shall Kenyans rise against each other through violence to sort of electoral differences.
“We put aside our political differences and sat down and agreed to sort this mess in the country once and for all,” he said.
Speaking during a church service at Mbeka ACK church in Bondo Constituency, Ichungwa asked Kenyans to appreciate their diversity and live as brothers and sisters.
“Every Kenyan has a right to live in this country peacefully,” he told the congregants.
He said the national dialogue process which he co-chaired alongside Kalonzo Musyoka has made recommendations which will have positive impact on Kenyans.
“Going forward, we will go to elections, go home and the following day go on with our lives without any political conflicts,” he said.
Ichungwa said the recommendations will make political contestation becomes a theatre of animosity or hatred.
He noted that the dialogue team strived to make political contestation in the country an avenue to celebrate political affiliation, religion and tribe.
“We are very happy that the process has completed successfully and several questions are now answered,” he said.
Among them, he said, is the issue of the leadership which now settled in the report.
The legislator said what now remains is the speedy implementation of the report to be able to deal with the cost of living and unemployment among the youth.
