Police in Kericho County are searching for a woman after the death of a 60-year-old pastor.
The deceased, identified as David Kiplangat, was an assistant pastor at a Seventh Day Adventist Church.
According to police reports, Kiplangat spent the night with a woman at a lodging in Kapsoit Trading Centre on January 17.
It is believed that Kiplangat consumed sex enhancement pills for the night.
However, things took a dark turn when the pastor lost consciousness.
The woman quickly informed the management of the lodging and then disappeared.
Upon receiving a distress call,
Consequently,police from Kapsoit Police Station arrived at the scene and found the lifeless body of the preacher.
A used condom and other materials were recovered.
The body was transferred to Kericho County Referral Hospital for an autopsy.
Therefore,Preliminary investigations showed no visible injuries on the body, but the autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Charles Kibati, the Belgut Sub-County Police Commander, confirmed the incident and stated that a manhunt for the missing woman had been launched.

However,the market for these drugs is growing, and counterfeit products are becoming more prevalent.
