Three injured in a Helicopter Accident in Wajir

Three were injured in a prime Aviation Helicopter accident that crushed at Wajir Airport while ferrying food to Arabajahan.

The incident happened at around noon today.

On board were two pilots Captain Kiroken and James Ndirangu along with Abey Jimaale a member if the County Assembly for Arabajahan ward.

The crash resulted in injuries to all the three.

Captain James Ndirangu sustained
Shoulder and right hand injuries,while Captain Kiroken suffered head injuries.

Abey also sustained head injuries.
They were immediately rushed to Wajir referral hospital for treatment.

However,they were further transferred to Nairobi for medical attention.

Upon receiving the call, various authorities responded to the scene.

They included Kenya Airport Authority,Kenya Defense Forces and local police officer for the rescue.

The Hericopted sustained extensive damage as a result of crash.

The scene was documented and crusial evidence was collected to determine the cause.
